The Ultimate Source: All Perspectives vs the Individual Self: A Single Perspective

YWS
(Second edition: 20200424–20211205)

1) The differences among the three perspectives of the individual self, the greater self, and the Ultimate Source:

Individual self: a single perspective. It can see and experience only one color/spacetime at a time. (Individual self = physical-body spirit.)

Greater self: multiple perspectives. It can see and experience multiple colors/spacetimes simultaneously. (Greater self = composite spirit.)

Ultimate Source: all perspectives. It can see and experience all colors/spacetimes simultaneously. (The complete self = the Ultimate Source.)

For example, imagine a circular disc with 360 angles = 360 colors.

If you look from only one angle, you see only a single hue. You know nothing of the other colors, much less the full richness of the entire disc.

It is like living in a monochromatic world, unaware of the rich colors of the truly free world.

Viewed from each angle, each is a truth. So how many truths are there?

The individual self, from its one angle, can see and experience only one reality at a time.

The greater self, from multiple angles, can see and experience multiple realities simultaneously.

The Ultimate Source, from all 360 angles, can see and experience 360 realities simultaneously.

Does the difference between the individual self and the greater self remind you of the blind men and the elephant?

2) Even individual selves differ in the particular single-perspective limitations they face:

Viewed from each angle, each is a truth. So how many truths are there?
